Last look through!!

I have made all the changes to Panic and I'm giving it the final once over! I have the cover designed and ready. This is so exciting!

Query! I'm getting my query letters together!!!

Agents, agents, agents! I need an agent! Something tells me Panic will not be meeting the December deadline, but it's worth the wait!!

Searching!

Despite my recent admission that I will be going Indie with Panic I am currently searching publishers and agents. I don't know if I will ever fully decide until it comes down to the wire! *sigh* Let's see what agents and publishers have to say.

Past the half way point with editing!!

I am more than half way through with editing Panic and just trucking along! I'm hoping to get this ready for release December, 9th!! :)


After some hesitation, I have decided to release Panic "Indie-style" instead of finding a publisher. This book has taken me so long to write and edit that at this point I feel like just have to get it out there!

Editing Panic

I'm busily editing Panic. Hopefully soon I will have a finished product, but I'm worried about my winter deadline! Also at the rate I'm heading towards Panic two, it's going to break a lot of hearts...including mine </3

Preface

Cara sat in the court room; her hands were moist and she felt clammy. She did her best to catch her breath, but he kept staring at her. He kept taking her in against her will. She didn’t want him to look at her or think about her. She just wanted him to disappear.

She knew that if she hadn’t turned him in he wouldn’t be staring at her like this, but she didn’t regret her decision. He had to pay for hurting her family at such a vulnerable time.

When the judge banged his gavel Cara knew that justice had been served. He was going to prison, but he was still staring at her. Even when the judge ordered him to look forward he started at her.

Cara wanted to vomit from the evil in his gaze, but she steadied her clammy hands and took a deep breath. It was all over now, he was gone and no matter how he looked at her he couldn’t get to her now.  He couldn’t get to her family either, but she was sure that his evil glare would haunt her from behind his prison bars.

Panic!

I plan to edit at least five chapters of Panic today, getting close to the end with this book. It's been such a long journey...I can't wait until it's finished. :)
